This is a design project for a small onsen village located in Minakami, Gunma.   The onsen (HotSpring) village has over 1,300 years of history.   However, due to the ageing population and declining tourism, the village has lost its appeal.   This project is composed of residential and town design in an aim to revive it as being as traditional Japanese onsen village with Japanese design.
