About me & this site
I am a studying architect and graphic designer with architect license in Japan. I have a long career history in FinTech in the past, but the passion on architectural and graphic design give a new life of me with enjoyment.
My focus and my design philosophy is Tradition Modern design. With the use of modern technology, traditional architecture skills in terms of styles and techniques can be bought into life and blend into our everyday living. I believe that is the way to conserve and to continue a tradition by blending it into our daily living instead of having the tradition as being a historical artifact that can only be seen in a museum and be forgotten.
In fact, to study Japanese architecture, the history of Japan and architecture design of Temples, Chasitsu, Minka and other historical monuments play are the crucial parts. It is because resources were only made available to those religious structures in the past. Modern buildings have little reflection on distinguishable Japanese architecture, since the design of modern high rise buildings in particular look pretty similar to the rest of other major cities in the world.
There are many topics I’ve posted in the website ranging from Japanese design aesthetic and architecture. It is in my aim for promoting the awareness of these beautiful creations and for exchanging interest and ideas with like minds.
Welcome to my house of Japanese architecture and design aesthetic and hope you enjoy the visit.
